![]() So by now you’ve all probably heard about the artifact glitch that content creators have been going crazy about, the one where they disconnect their internet connections to find out how many upgrades an artifact upgrade would take. Count how many attempts until the upgrade bar hangs, that means it will take X attempts for that item to upgrade. So because the server doesnt update your silver untill you either lvl, cancel, or run out of silver using the "exploit" never registers having spent more silver attempting an upgrade, effectively making the exploit usless. To find out the number of attempts needed for an artifact to upgrade you simply have to:ģ. Sp upon reaching lvl 15 the item has aX ammount of silver left before it can hit 16. ![]() I belive each artifact has some randomly chosen ammount of silver required to go from 1-16 and that ammount is probably determined when you receive the item. I have tried using this "exploit" before and while I never really kept track of the attempts, I can say it never made a difference and I always gave up trying to reload game over and over. I then did the manual single click upgrade to see if that made a difference, it took 32 tries to upgrade. I let it run for 22 attempts before closing the game, I tried this 15 times for a total of 330 attempts and it never upgraded. ![]() Upgrading a lvl15 6☆ chest peice to lvl16 using the upgrade 1 level feature. When you reload the game you still have all of your silver. If you use the upgrade 1 level or upgrade to lvl X feature, but you force close the game before it upgrades, you run out of silver or press cancel. TLDR: upgrading artifacts doesn't seem to be purely random.
